Per Kemet
Ii-wy em hotep, welcome in peace, to Per Kemet - the House of Egypt. Since I was very young I have been drawn to Egypt, or Kemet. This page was created for myself and others for both education and entertainment. Articles about Kemet are to be found here as well as downloads, rules for D&D 3rd Edition, links to other fantastic sites on Egypt and more. I suggest that you read Before We Begin first as it has important introductory information, special terms you should know and such. It will greatly enhance your enjoyment and understanding of other articles. News: 11-24-2005: Has it been 8 months? At least it wasn't a year this time. Added some animared GIFs to the "downloads" section. Seriously, all 2 of you that look at this site, I do plan on doing stuff with it. I've just had a lot going on. Don't get me started. Still plan to finish the "Matrix" section, the monotheism section, and the Canaanite stuff. 3-6-2005: Redid the poetry section and added a new poem. Fixed some minor things here and there in terms of design and layout. Also notice a new page: The Matrix. This will be completed over time. None of it is done yet. 3-3-2005: The Comparison of Deities section has been updated with Canaanite deities and a little blurb about WESIR, SETEKH and ASET as compared to Ba'al, Mot and Anath. I'm finding Canaanite gods and their comparison to Kemetic counterparts interesting enough to add a section just for Them... possibly. 2-27-2005: A new review has been added. A link has been added to the end of each review page which will allow you to purchase the book in question. The remaining "old" pages have been overhauled, and some new links have been added.
